Mildred O. Harrold, 97, of Akron, Indiana passed at 11:00 pm, Monday, Oct. 9, 2017 at her residence. She was born on Dec. 19, 1919 in Kosciusko County, Indiana to Oren and Grace (Cook) Craig.
She was united in marriage on Nov. 26, 1942 in the residence she had lived in most of her life to Dorris L. Harrold who preceded on June 9, 2009.
She taught school thirty-three years in the Franklin, Beaver Dam, and Warsaw School System.
Mildred graduated from Beaver Dam High School and Manchester College. She received a teaching degree with a life license in two years. She was a member of the Beaver Dam United Methodist Church for over 65 years. She was a life member of the American Angus Auxiliary and sewed for the Ways and Means for the Indiana Angus Auxiliary for twenty years. She and Dorris were Kosciusko County 4-H leaders for 18 years.

Great Grandchildren: Luke and Chase Harker, Collin and Landon Deatsman, and Noah, Madelyn, and Sophia Harrold Preceded in Death By: Parents - Oren and Grace Craig Husband - Dorris Harrold Sister: Susie Riley Brothers: George Craig and William P. Craig
