Angus youth led 131 entries at the 2019 All-American Angus Breeders’ Futurity Junior Show, June 15 in Louisville, Ky. Chris Cassady, Ankeny, Iowa, evaluated 70 owned females, 40 bred-and-owned females, nine bred-and-owned bulls, seven cow-calf pairs, and five steers before choosing the winners.

DDA Yellowstone 1806 earned grand champion bred-and-owned bull honors. Reese Anderson, Chrisman, Ill., owns the January 2018 son of SAC Conversation. He first claimed junior champion.
SchillingsR&L Full Disclosure was selected as the reserve grand champion bred-and-owned bull. Eva Hinrichsen, Westmoreland, Kan., owns the March 2018 son of Schillings R&L Classified. He first won reserve junior champion.
John Henderson, East Troy, Wis., owns the grand champion cow-calf pair. Henning Burgess 7005 is a January 2017 daughter of Dameron First Impression. A February 2019 heifer calf sired by Mill Coulee Payweight 607 completes the winning pair.
