Get Ready for the 2025 Indiana Angus Preview Show: A Weekend of Champions, Camaraderie, and Cattle

Mark your calendars for June 14–15, 2025—because the Indiana Angus Preview Show is back and better than ever! Hosted at the Boone County Fairgrounds in Lebanon, Indiana, this two-day event brings together top Angus cattle from across the state for a weekend filled with friendly competition, education, and fellowship.

What to Expect

The weekend kicks off with setup on Thursday, June 12, followed by cattle arrival and check-in on Friday. Then, the excitement begins:

Saturday, June 14 – The Open Show judged by Blake Bloomberg starts at 9:00 a.m. with classes for cow/calf pairs, females, bulls, and a Supreme Champion selection. This year also introduces the Phenotype and Genotype Show (PGS), an educational opportunity for exhibitors to learn more about EPDs and $Values.
Sunday, June 15 – The Junior Show, judged by Brandon Bratcher, begins with Showmanship at 9:00 a.m. Classes include steers, cow/calf pairs, bred and owned females and bulls, owned females, and a Supreme Champion selection.

And don’t miss the Fellowship Meal on Saturday after the Open Show—an annual favorite that brings together families, breeders, and friends from across Indiana.

What’s New in 2025?

Showmanship is now on Sunday before the Junior Show, starting at 9:00 a.m.
All entries must be submitted through Showman App – search “Indiana Angus Preview Show” or visit Showman App.
The new Phenotype and Genotype Show (PGS) offers another class for heifers and helps youth exhibitors gain insight into data-driven breeding decisions.

Important Deadlines

June 1, 2025 – Entry deadline for both Junior and Open Shows. Late fees apply after this date and no entries will be accepted at the show.
June 13, 2025 (4:00 PM EDT) – All cattle must be on the fairgrounds and ready for check-in unless alternative arrangements have been made.
